#1: Oh, okay. Whatever.

It’s been an uphill battle with my immune system since it discovered that it has the strength of a carrot. And life has been anything but gentle in the first month of the year.

I’m taking this time to make a small update, because I’m mentally not in any position to write long articles. It’s my birthday today, and I thought, “why not use this as the time to write something small, but meaningful?”

Life has been moving pretty fast. The world around us is moving in awfully unkind ways, and I have to remind myself that there is good in this world, despite. But sometimes it’s hard to see the good, let alone feel it. I’m also writing this with an earth shattering migraine — had to come back home early because it was too much.

In any case, I want to live long enough to see the day people take issues seriously again, and are not numb to the happenings of the world.
